The average cost of a pickup for Habitat Restore is $100. Would you be willing to make a donation to help us offset that cost of the pickup service? This donation will help Habitat continue to build homes for families in our community.

Please select a date. Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity will continue offering free pick up services from Monday thru Friday. Due to many variables, we are unable to give you an accurate time of pickup. For morning pickups, the timeline is 9 am to 1 pm. For afternoon pickups, the time line is 1pm to 5 pm. We will text and call when we are on our way to complete your pickup. To help us evaluate the items you wish to donate, please upload images of the items here.
Please note the following to help ensure a smooth process:
  • Condition Matters: We can only accept items that are clean, gently used, free of damage or excessive wear, and in working condition. Items with stains, rips, mold, or missing parts will not qualify as we cannot repurpose those items.

  • Driver Discretion: Even if photos initially indicate condition eligibility, the driver onsite reserves the right to refuse items that are in poor condition, unsafe, or difficult to access.

If any items cannot be accepted, we will notify you via email with next steps or alternatives.

What to Expect:
Due to various factors--such as route scheduling, pick-up volumes, and traffic--we're unable to provide an exact pickup time. Instead, your donation will fall within one of two general timeframes:
  • Morning Pickups: Between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM
  • Afternoon Pickups: Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
Our driver will call you when they're on their way to complete your pickup--so you'll have a heads-up in real time.
